Configuration and Automation All-in-One -
That's Savant's ROSIE Automation App

Iphone-Services-View2-resized.jpgSavant’s iPhone® and iPod touch® mobile device application for home automation takes advantage of the unique capabilities offered by these revolutionary devices.

Upon automatically discovering and connecting all available ROSIE services on a home network, these devices will then download and install all of the configured screens and graphics from the ROSIE Control System and present them in a simple list of rooms.

Savant’s new iPhone theme provides a look and feel that fits perfectly with the screen resolution and ergonomics of the device. The ROSIE system is controlled with simple taps and gestures on the device, and provides whole-home two-way feedback from all smart home systems across the house, and remotely from the iPhone.

The ROSIE Home Automation Application also includes an On-Screen Display (OSD) controlmode allowing it to function as a remote to Savant’s award-winning OSD interface. This unique control mode uses a very simple interface to scroll through a set of icons displayed on a TV using Savant’s OSD technology. It even implements a unique swirling circular motion gesture to simplify navigation.

ROSIE “on the Road” (ROTR) is a remote access application included with the ROSIE Home Automation Application. It provides access to all features and services within the home from anywhere in the world through a WiFi, 2G or 3G data connection with zero configuration. ROTR provides the means to remotely access security systems, trigger gate access, control heating and air conditioning, implement total lighting control, view live video feeds from security cameras, and even receive messages and notifications when events occur. And integrating Savant's RacePoint Blueprint™ remote access to ROSIE services is easily configured and automatically sent to the iPhone or iPod touch upon discovery.
